Spalding Gold Medal bat - circa 1900

Vintage Spalding mushroom handle bat - circa 1900. Spalding bats were used primarily before the turn of he century. In very good condition - shows wear around knob - flat spot on back of barrel where piece of wood split off - excellent display piece. Spalding easily legible on barrel - looks to have initials MN carved above label - no major cracks - old tape in fine condition with one wear spot near base.  31 inches in length. Very heavy - approx 38 - 40 ounces.

1937-1987 NY Yankees autographs on bat (45 signatures)

This is an older model Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick bat and contains 45 autographes from former Yankees players, coaches, GMs and broadcaster. Some of the players go as far back as 1937 up to 1987. This bat will include autograph show tickets from most of the various shows at which the signatures were purchased. Some of the names include: broadcaster Mel Allen, Hank Bauer, Yogi Berra, Clete Boyer, Whitey Ford, Jim "Catfish" Hunter, Ralph Houk, Tom Tresh, Reggie Jackson, Gil McDougald, Bobby Richardson, Phil Rizzuto, Allie Reynolds, Craig Nettles, Bill "Moose" Skowron, Sparky Lyle, Don Larson, Johnny Mize, Bucky Dent and many more. The bat is a store model and in excellent condition.

This is an Adirondack "Big Stick" model Reggie Jackson baseball bat. It has Reggie's name on the barrel below Big Stick and is autographed by Reggie and inscribed HOF '93 - 563 HR's & Mr. October. It aslo comes with a beautiful felt bag that has Reggie jackson embroidered on it. This is a beautiful addition to any Yankee fan's collection.   

Philadelphia Athletics promotional bat

This is an old Philadelphia As promotional giveaway bat made by the Gold Brand Distributors of Phila, PA. 16 inches in length, labeling in excellent condition, possibly 1940's - 50's giveaway item. (Very, very light signature of Jimmie Foxx looks to be in pencil on barrel; cannot verify any authenticity of signature so being sold as if not authentic.)

CHUCK KLEIN - HOFer - player model bat

Chuck Klein player model bat made by Hilerich & Bradsby (Louisville Slugger) of Louisville, KY. This 1930's Phillies slugger's name is written in script which indicates a contract between Chuck Klein and H&B. Also has "Powerized" stamped on barrel above label indicating 1932 or later. Bat is 31 inches long - weight unknown. K-55 stamped on knob. Also has Susquehanna stamped on barrel - probably ordered and used by a Susquehanna, PA team (not a factory stamp). Bat is in excellent condition. No major cracking - one or two slight nicks. Excellent display item.
REGGIE JACKSON - HOFer - store model bat

This is a Reggie Jackson store model bat made by Adirondack/Rawlings Company. 34 inches long - weight unknown - approx 34- 35 oz. No major cracks - no nicks - very slight separation of layering - 155-4 stamped on knob.

BOBBY DOERR - Boston Red Sox - HOFer

Bob Doerr Louisvile Slugger store model bat is 33 inches long, #33 stamped on knob. Bat is light, probably 30-34 oz. Oil Tempered stamped on barrel. No major cracks, very few, nicks from normal wear & tear, excellent condition.
LOU GEHRIG model bat - NY Yankees HOFer

Lou Gehrig model Hillerich & Bradsby bat is 35 inches long - does not say "Louisvile Slugger" on the label indicating earlier version of bat model - possibly WWII era. No other stamp above the label either. The end of the barrel reads U.S. "Safe Hit." Bat is heavy (approx 38-40 oz's). No cracks, normal layer separation at end of barrel, one small flat spot on knob, overall in excellent condition.   

JACKIE ROBINSON - Brooklyn Dodgers - HOFer

Jackie Robinson store model Louisville Slugger. Bat is 34 inches long. "Flame Tempered" stamped above label. Gunuine R-17 stamped above player signature. JR 4 stamped on knob. Has one major large crack (repaired) on back of barrel, otherwise in great condition.

Vintage Bats                SOLD
Blackman & Birchfield model. This bat is made by Blackman & Birchfield Woodwroking Company of Belmont, NY; has "The Belmont" stamped on the barrel, 35 inches long, no cracks, many nicks from normal wear and tear.
   
The Soaker model made by the Edward K. Tryon Jr. Company of Philadelphia, PA. Bat is 33 inches long, very heavy with thick handle (approx 40-42 oz.)  No other markings except for visible label, no cracks, just normal wear and tear, knob flattened on both sides.
   
Bottle Bat, so named for its odd shape, 34 inches long, cannot read labeling, coating worn, no cracks or layer separation, one small flat spot on knob, #4 stamped on knob.
1980 World Series Black Bats

World Series Black Bats created by Hillerich & Bradsby in 1934 are given to participating players and dignitaries from teams in the World Series. They have facsimile autographs of the entire team in gold on a dark black ebony bat. This is the Kansas City Royals model from the 1980 World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies won the World Series so this bat is stamped Kansas City Royals American League Champions 1980 (Phillies World Series bat SOLD already). This model bat price is based on Collector's Digest Sports Memorabilia - 2008 Edition.

It is an official Louisville Slugger designed to the exact specifications of the bat Gus used. It can only be ordered by a written request from the player himself. It is 36 inches long. This is a Louisville Slugger Chase Utley GAME USED bat. It is autographed by Chase Utley. It has the Major League logo emblazoned on the back of the barrel as well as TPX . The handle is taped where it is cracked. The only way to get a game used bat that is cracked is by being given it by the player. The bat is 34 inches long.

1964 Phillies autographed bat

This is an old Hillerich & Bradsby bat signed by 13 members of the 1964 Phillies team, the team that almost won the National League pennant in 1964. The bat has no crack and some slight layering separation near the handle and the back of the barrel. It has two flat sides on the knob and a #5 stamped on the knob. The bat is 35 inches long.
